Overview
1. The Sebia gel technology is based on the principle of separation molecules in an agarose medium.
2. Manual K20 electrophoresis system is a set of five different components delivering the performance of automation:

3. Wide Menu : Protein, Immunofixation, Hemoglobin, Iso enzymes and Lipoproteins

1. Power Supply:
- Power Supplies are programmable with memory.
- MG 300 can be connected to two electrophoresis chambers at a time & MG 500 can be connected to four electrophoresis chambers at a time.
- Precise regulation of migration parameters : constant voltage, current and power with preset safety limits.
- A Buit-in timer stops migration and an alarm sounds when the electrophoresis procedure is finished.
- Total protection against Short-circuits and over loads.
2. K-20 Applicator Carrier: Sebia patented Technology designed for sample application on agarose gels and for Antisera application in Immunofixation procedure.. The sharpness of bands directly depends on the sharpness of sample application.
3. K-20 Electrophoresis Chamber: Specially designed to use with the Hydragel K-20 Methods and has an in-built security protection to guarantee correct usage of the product. Gels comes directly in contact with the buffer eliminate the need of any paper wick.
4.Incubator-Dryer: Provided for the fast drying process. An Tangential air-flow system associated with the high powered heating allows a rapid raise temperature and homogeneous drying.
5.Staining-destaining Chamber: Separate staining-destaining chamber provided along with the K-20 instrument.
6. Gel Holder: provided to avoid the direct contact of Hands to the gel.
7.Software: Phoresis software
- Windows Based Gel Scanning Software.
- Scans and processes any gel processed by K-20 & Hydrasys including Immunofixation.
- Ability to scan any type of gel including: protein, hemoglobin, isoenzymes, all types of Immunofixation assays and even L/S plates!
- Scanner connected to the PC can scan 6 gels simultaneously facilitating workflow.
